Thimbleberries Quilt Club 2010
Village Green
The fabric for 2010 is Village Green by Lynette Jensen of Thimbleberries for RJR.
We will be featuring the Midnight collection. This is dark blue even though it looks black.
The colors are very rich and play well off each other. We have a sample of the actual fabric at the store you can see and touch!
We have chosen the Queen Size variation.
The Quilt measures 96x106.
Thimbleberries Club is just that. An exclusive club where you, the member, have access to an original Block of the Month, bonus patterns, and Lynette's newsletter full of ideas, recipes, and projects! These patterns are not available to the general public.
Each month you will receive a full color instruction booklet containing directions for the months featured block, fabric kit to make blocks, and pattern for bonus project. In addition to the patterns, newsletter, and fabric, there will be door prizes, snacks, and FUN!!!! This is a great time to meet fellow quilters and make new friends!
Each meeting will last 30min - 1 hour depending on attendance and how many brought "Sew 'n' Tell." During each meeting we will have a sample block prepared and explain how to make it. We will also go through the newsletter and see what extra goodies are inside.
If you would like to sew at the shop, check the calendar for Night Owls and Free Sew Saturday sessions.
The meetings will be on the fourth Thursday of each month at 11AM and 7PM. Please choose a time that works best for you. Let us know ahead of time if you need to attend a different meeting time than the one you signed up for so we can make sure we have room. If you sign up in the store before December 31st, you will be in the raffle for a fat quarter bundle of Villiage Green in Midnight by Thimbleberries! A $42 value! Hang on to your ticket! You must be present to win! This will be given away to one lucky person! If you cannot attend a meeting you can come in and pick up your kit anytime after the fourth Thursday. If you cannot attend but want to be in the club we do have a mail out option for you. We hope everyone that wants to can come!
Memebership for the club is $18 per year
Kit Cost is $23 per month
(kit includes: fabric, block pattern, bonus pattern,newsletter, finishing kit, and binding.)
*We will be offering a kit for the matching 108" wide back and batting at a discount to all club members.
